Of writing… again

I used to be quite the bloggerholic. Every insy bitsy little detail of my not-so-boring life would be reflected on my multiply page, but I didn’t care. The fact that I get to write was a big plus, and that I get to write about me was an added bonus (ehemehemconceitedehemehem). The fact that I was in college, trying to obtain the awesomest-gruesomest degree known to man didn’t stop me. Who cares about NCPs and NHHs and Case Studies when you get to chatter your life away in multiply? Certainly not the UPCN Class of 2009.

Maybe because of the countless clinical papers that we have written that our avenue for expression was writing as well.

One reason that I love blogging so much back then was that most of my batchmates were bloggers as well. My batchmates – we were artists. We expressed our world through writing, and it was enough. It didn’t need to be grammatically correct. It didn’t need to be written in straight English. Spelling wasn’t even an issue. Capitalization? Don’t gave a damn. Taglish? Sure, go ahead. We only needed to write, right? :p

But everyone has succumbed to Facebook and Twitter. And it was Hasta La Vista Multiply.

I miss the UPCN Class of 2009. We used to write. We used to express ourselves through writing, not through status updates.

So, I beg of you. Let’s write again. :)
